Keegan is a multidisciplinary artist and producer with a distinct vision under his full creative control, despite only just beginning his career with debut album ‘Mr. K.’ The EP shows Keegan set himself apart from the pack by crafting a persona around his early musical experiences through clever lyricism and deep instrumentals influenced by jazz, bossanova, and retro aesthetics. Starting confident with a cocky, narcissistic disposition, ‘Mr. K’ tells the story of a young artist starting out strong before falling into frustration with himself and the process of returning to a place of self-efficacy and self-esteem. While we see the narrative come full circle, Keegan leaves us wanting more with so much of his story yet to be written.
